Aesthetic treatments in Curry Rivel Somerset

Fequently Asked Questions

Are dermal fillers and Botox safe?

If you are being treated by a qualified medical professional, using quality products that conform to current safety standards in the UK, you should not experience any issues.

Are you a trained medical professional?

Yes, I am a registered nurse of 10 years, and I am regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).  I began my aesthetics training with Cosmetic Courses in Harley Street, London in April 2019.  I am fully insured by Cosmetic Insure and a member of CMAC (Complications in Medical Aesthetic Collaborative).

Are the aesthetic treatments you offer suitable for anyone?

No, treatments wouldn’t be suitable for the following reasons:

  • Under 18 years old
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • If you are taking certain medications or have certain medical conditions
  • If you had a known allergy or sensitivity to certain products or ingredients

Will I look fake after dermal fillers or other facial treatments?

No not at all, our aim at The Country Clinic is to enhance your natural beauty. We believe in offering natural, yet noticeable enhancements that compliment your facial features. Your treatment plan is tailor-made to be as unique as you are. We prefer our patients to leave our clinic feeling rejuvenated, confident, and youthful.

I’m scared of needles; can I still have an aesthetic treatment?

Yes, of course, we have treated many patients successfully that are needle phobic. At The Country Clinic, we offer free consultations, so you can visit the clinic and meet Bryony to discuss your treatment in detail and ask any questions before you book your appointment. It is our priority that patients feel safe and relaxed during their visit to the clinic.

I would like lip fillers, will it hurt?

Your lips are a very sensitive area to have treated, so the procedure can feel uncomfortable. However, a very effective topical anaesthetic cream is applied to your lips prior to treatment, to numb the area. Our dermal filler products also contain lidocaine, a local anaesthetic, used to make the procedure even more comfortable.

Plenty of time is allocated to each appointment, so patients have the opportunity, if needed, to have little breaks throughout the treatment to make it more manageable. Stress balls are also available, which patients find very helpful to squeeze during the treatment!

What products do you use for your aesthetic treatments?

At The Country Clinic, we use the following products:

Dermal Fillers – Vivacy Stylage range and Teoxane
Anti-wrinkle treatment – Botox and Bocouture
Professional Peels – PCA SKIN
Fat Dissolving – Aqualyx

How can I pay for treatments?

You can pay by card, bank transfer or cash. Monthly payment plans are also available on certain treatments, please email hello@thecountryclinic.co.uk for more details.

Is there parking at the clinic in Curry Rivel?

Yes, the clinic is located in a residential area, parking is available directly outside the clinic. Please ensure you park considerably when visiting us.

There are so many aesthetic practitioners, why should I come to The Country Clinic?

You are right, there is a lot of competition. However, at The Country Clinic, we offer an exceptionally professional service from initial enquiry through to aftercare and beyond.  As previously mentioned, I am a nurse, therefore I am accountable to the Nursing and Midwifery Council. I must abide by the NMC code of conduct and provide safe, professional, honest and beneficial care that prioritises patients, as well as protects their privacy and confidentiality.

Unfortunately, the aesthetic industry is currently unregulated, which means there are many unaccountable, uninsured, untrained people offering services to the public that are beyond their scope of practice.  Always ensure you are being treated by an insured medical professional.

Do you have other questions about facial & skin care aesthetic treatments?
